Oct 24, 2024 · This amount will be Miami’s contribution to combating the deficit, as 43% of all fire calls in Oxford are for students on Miami’s campus or within the Mile Square. Issue 2 on the City of Oxford’s ballot is a property tax levy aimed at generating $2.6 million over a 10-year period to put an end to Oxford Fire Department’s financial deficit.
