Jan 13, 2023 · I played almost every new titles with my old i7 4790K and a recently purchased RTX 2080 SUPER OC at 3840x2160 at Ultra settings with some fps drops here and there, Recently i upgraded cpu for a Ryzen 5500. (Not the best choise). But i do get like 20+fps in games and almost overkill the previously mentioned settings.

Sep 24, 2018 · I get my 2080 to run 8c° cooler (75 max in game instead of 83), and 40-50mhz higher than stock. Values in the .900-.930 seems to drop the TDP (displayed) by 20-25%. You may also aim for a "mid range" overclocking (~1000mv), to get a good frequency (let's say 1950-2000mhz) without having to bruteforce all sliders to 11 to get the last 50mhz.

Nov 26, 2022 · I've upgraded from 2080 super to 4080. If you have microcenter near by and can grab a 4080 at 1199, just grab it, wait for amd review to get the amd and return the 4080. Too slim chance for 4090 and I wouldn't want to add fire paying scalpers.
