$3 is the high end of my prediction for this cycle which is $0.60-$3. Keep in mind that there is more circulating HBAR now than the previous cycle so $0.60 is about 3x the market cap high of the previous cycle even though it is not 3x the price.

If it were to happen the price would go far beyond what you might predict because the speculative buying would piggyback on the supply demand fundamentals. My prediction is HBAR will be adopted on a large scale and reach $5- $10 within 5 years. I think the most money will be made by those who buy and hold long term. Not financial advice.

If you look at BTC price in the second half of 2017 and the first half of 2018 (they minted 50B HBAR in August of 2018) the price of Bitcoin floated from $4000ish to $16000ish. If that influenced their thought on the price of HBAR, it makes sense to me that Leemon thinks the $5-$15 range is a good range for HBAR.

The price of HBAR doesn’t matter with regard to cost of transactions because the transactions are priced in USD. Try looking at it from this angle - if a company wants to create 100 tokens a day, those transactions cost $1 each so they need $100 worth of HBAR. If HBAR is trading for $1 then they need to buy 100 HBAR.
