Jul 4, 2008 · Well there are clones and there are amps that are derived from the Dumble. In my opinion I made the right choice buying a Glaswerks when I did. The Glaswerks is derived from combining the best of the all three era Dumbles.

Nov 26, 2017 · To me, the Dumble users I know always sound recognisably like themselves, regardless of the gear. Having that in mind, you can draw parallels. If anything, the Dumble amps succeed in accentuating the nuances of player's technique and sound, but without necessarily being tonally superior to other high quality amps.

Nov 16, 2023 · They have added free collections since the TONEX came out, so I don’t get the vitriol here paying a premium for a freakin’ unobtainum level amp like a Dumble. There’s a lot I criticize IK for: the unintuitive, barely improved interface (that I’ve learned to live with), the long delay on the batch capture update…but TONEX is a hell of a deal for what you get already.
