May 29, 2020 · The Adware keeps coming back no matter how hard I tried. I had been running registry check, booting in safe mode and do a recovey state and a lot more stuff like using 5 antivirus to handle this not to mention searching one by one files to search it's core but to my demise I couldn't find it's core till now.

It found some PUPs and other stuff that I have then put into quarantine and deleted. Nov 8, 2017 · Sadly I got a weird returning adware on my PC called Adware.Elex.ShrtCln, that is somehow linked to my Google Chrome account. When I run a Threat Scan, malwarebytes detects the adware and succesfully removes it to the quarantine. After that the program prompted me to restart the PC. So after I restarted the PC, I ran the Threat Scan again.

Apr 29, 2017 · This malware called adware.elex and sometimes called adware.elex.generic pops up on my google chrome with websites set to my defualt window and search engine overnight after i have scanned with Malwarebytes. Each time i finish quarantining adware.elex, restarted computer, it comes back in a couple of days.
