Streamlight Microstream USB Rechargable - New Review Added
Dec 29, 2014 · The Microstream USB is rechargeable, and comes with its own short micro USB charging cable. The charging cable is small so it doesn't take up much room in your pocket, car console, or pack. You can use your cell phone micro USB as an alternative. The charging port on the microstream is hidden under the bezel, you just pull it out and plug it in.
Ammo Box Solar 12v battery charger - MODIFIED (w/ Powerpoles)
Sep 2, 2019 · My wiring skills need work, looks like a rats nest in there. But the solid 12g wire isn't very pliable. The battery is mostly centered and the wire hides on one side with storage on the other. Plenty of USB ports, a 12v cig adapter port, volt meter, and switch to turn it all off so the solar charger isn't sipping power when not in use.

Oct 4, 2024 · In fact I've never bought batteries for this in over 8 years .. always used rechargeable. I don't like lights or really anything that recharges via USB because the connectors are so fragile and specialized . That USB port ain't gonna last for 8 years or the battery so I like the option of just popping in fresh ones .

Jun 18, 2024 · More of a power bank, this does have a single crank that charges an internal battery bank. USB output. Cost varies wildly based on selling vendor. Power output is quoted as: Output voltage: USB---5V 2.1A; DC12V; AC110V(sinusoidal wave) so there is a small inverter internal to the unit. The link above has an image of the internals.

Dec 2, 2020 · My wife and I really like the Dometic cooler for the "no ice" benefit. But, it requires the battery pack. When moving every few days, we just plug it in. If not, solar panels work, if weather cooperates. I bring 2, so always a back up.
