The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in connection with reports of a stolen trailer from an area church, and authorities were able to recover the stolen trailer as well.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Putnam County officers charged a man for stealing two trailers on two different occasions in Cookeville. On Dec. 28, 2024, a trailer was reported stolen from Life Church on Washington Avenue.

A Putnam County high school student who had been suspended for being in possession of a THC vaping device received additional, unrelated charges following an investigation by the sheriff’s office. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) said a concerned citizen notified a deputy Monday of information that sparked an investigation from PCSO school resource officers and detectives.
