Tuesday night’s special New Year’s Evil edition of WWE NXT averaged 957,000 viewers on The CW, up 52.9 percent from last week. It’s the best viewership total for NXT since moving to The CW and is the show’s largest overall audience since September 25, 2019.

This ends Williams’ reign with the championship after 93 days, when he defeated Ethan Page for the title during NXT’s premiere on the CW back on October 1.
