Nico Echavarria claimed the Zozo Championship for his second PGA Tour victory. He shot a 3-under 67 to win by one shot over Max Greyserman and Justin Thomas.

Nico Echavarria is a pretty good poster boy for disputing the notion that only bombers can win on the PGA Tour. Echavarria bagged his second PGA Tour title at the Zozo Championship with solid iron play, superior putting and a relatively paltry driving distance average of 285.9 that ranked T-59 in the 78-player field.

Jason Caron had the biggest consolation prize. He played two full seasons on the PGA Tour and left the tour in 2011. Now the head pro at Mill River Club in New York, he posted three top-five results this year — including at the Senior PGA Championship — and last week narrowly moved into the top 36 for the Arkansas tournament.
