Fayette County Public Schools Superintendent Demetrus Liggins’ contract has been renewed until summer 2029. The school system says that the new agreement will run through the 2028-29 school year and was approved by a vote of three to two. The new contract will be effective on July 1, 2025, and end on June 30, 2029.
