Lady Gaga’s fans couldn’t quite believe their eyes when they saw the singer and actress participating in a recent video interview. It took some of her fans a few moments to identify the pop star, who was nearly unrecognizable as she sat for an “Ask Me Anything” interview with Elle UK.

In the video, the songstress can be seen in photographs where she is no longer sporting her signature long blonde locks. Gaga instead opted for a shorter cut and a darker color for her hair, reminiscent of Joan Jett. She also wore red lipstick with silver eyeshadow in the video, along with a black outfit and matching gloves.
