The entire Angeles National Forest is temporarily closed for public safety and the protection of natural resources from today, January 8, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. through Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 12:00 midnight. The closure order and prohibited activities may be found at this link.

The Lidia fire, which has burned around 395 acres, has been fully contained as of Saturday morning, according to CAL Fire.

As of Friday afternoon, six wildfires were burning across Los Angeles County, including a fresh one that had ignited just hours earlier.
