Although the Cedar Point Pier is currently under construction, it will be temporarily opened this weekend, according to a news release from Mobile County.

In preparation for the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, the pier will be open to the public for fishing from Friday, July 18, at 5:00 a.m. until Sunday, July 20, at 7:00 p.m.

Cedar Point Pier in Coden will reopen temporarily during the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, although pier upgrades are still in progress.

The Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo runs Friday-Sunday on Dauphin Island.
