Arch Manning is set to take over as the Texas Longhorns ’ starting quarterback next season, stepping in after Quinn Ewers declared for the NFL Draft a little more than over a week ago. Manning has spent the past two seasons developing, redshirting his first year, and serving as Ewers’ backup this past season.

But a preseason injury to CJ Baxter gave Wisner a chance to contribute, and he seized it, ultimately usurping Jaydon Blue to become Texas' feature back. He averaged 4.7 yards per rush on his way to a 1,064-yard season and caught 44 passes for 311 yards, too.
