Tropical Storm Nadine is expected to bring gusty winds and heavy rain to Central America, the Yucatan Peninsula and southern Mexico.

A new tropical storm, which would be named Nadine, is on the cusp of forming deep in the Caribbean Sea, the National Hurricane Center said at 5 p.m. Friday. The forecast track poses no threat to the Gulf Coast of Florida and other states. But Belize could feel the impacts of a storm that could form by Saturday afternoon.
