A potential sequel to the DCU Superman movie and the DCU Supergirl film could pit the Kryptonians against a villain who still hasn't been in a movie.

According to Bloody-Disgusting, the late Return of the Living Dead actors James Karen and Don Calfa will appear in Linnea Quigley’s meta-sequel, Trash’s Revenge, “with the magic of CGI.” In response to a fan on Threads (via Screen Rant ), James Gunn confirmed he’s now “pre-writing” his next DCU project after Superman and Peacemaker season two.

Now that the DC Universe is underway thanks to the release of Creature Commandos Season 1 to Max subscription holders (and yes, Season 2 is on the way), the next step for this franchise is to release its first movie.
