A coyote bit a 10-year-old riding a bicycle in Irvine, California police reported. The child was not seriously hurt in the attack Tuesday morning, Oct. 22, the Irvine Police Department said in a news release.

The boy was riding in the Portola Springs area when he stopped, felt something on his leg and realized a coyote bit him, police said.
