On a per-share basis, the Arlington, Virginia-based company said it had a loss of $9.97. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $10.44 per share. The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of $10.34 per share. The airplane builder posted revenue of $17.84 billion in the period, meeting Street forecasts. Boeing shares have dropped 39% since the beginning of the year, while the S&P's 500 index has climbed 23%. The stock has decreased 12% in the last 12 months.
