Microsoft has started the automatic rollout of Windows 11 version 24H2, also known as the Windows 11 2024 Update, to eligible devices. The update process started on Jan. 16, 2025, and as of now, it is for non-managed systems that use Windows 11 Home and Pro editions, as reported by Windows Latest.

If you are facing major issues with the latest Windows 11 2024 update, you can roll back and downgrade to Windows 11 23H2 safely.

Despite the constant drone of new issues with the upgrade, Microsoft this week expanded its rollout of Windows 11 version 24H2.

The initial rollout began for Copilot+ PCs in June of last year. If you don't own an "AI PC," 24H2 launched as early as October but was marred by bugs and glitches, most of which have been fixed per Microsoft's blog.
