Samoa Joe has returned to AEW after a hiatus of six months. Joe made his return on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, helping Katsuyori Shibata save Hook from an attack at the hands of The Patriarchy.

Samoa Joe would make his way out to the ring and proceed to clear the ring, saving both Hook and Shibata, marking his return after being gone for the last few months.

In an interview earlier this year, Joe expressed excitement at AEW's prospects, as wrestlers like Will Ospreay have since joined the company, and former world champion Kenny Omega is back from his bout with Diverticulitis.

Samoa Joe made his return to All Elite Wrestling on the January 15th episode of AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage by helping HOOK fight off the combined powers of The Patriarchy.

The former ROH & AEW World champion has been off filming Twisted Metal, but now he’s back to pick up (kinda) were he left off.
