Nevada men’s basketball fell to San Diego State, 69-50, Saturday night at Lawlor Events Center. The Wolf Pack played a solid first half but couldn’t maintain its momentum after the break.
Led by Magoon Gwath's 15 points, the San Diego State Aztecs defeated the Nevada Wolf Pack 69-50. Taj DeGourville added 14 points for San Diego State (13-5, 6-3 Mountain West Conference).
San Diego State raced past Nevada, 69-50, on Saturday in front off 9,058 fans, many of whom left midway through the second half of the game. The 50 points narrowly missed being the lowest points scored by a Wolf Pack team at Lawlor,
The run that put the Aztecs in charge of the game for good overlapped the first and second half. The Aztecs led just 22-21 but then went on a 9-0 run over the final three minutes of the first half and first two minutes of the second half to take a 31-21 lead.
