Officials for the United States Postal Service gave an update Wednesday on recovery efforts following hurricanes Helene and Milton, saying that restoring full service in affected areas may take “some time.

The U.S. Postal Service says it has reopened all of its mail processing centers in areas of Florida and North Carolina hit by recent hurricanes.

With less than two weeks to go before election day, the U.S. Postal Service is talking about its efforts to successfully deliver election mail through the November 5th presidential vote.
