Kevin Costner is taking a brief detour from “Horizon” for the new docuseries “Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner.”

An American Saga, but moviegoers didn’t seem to want to watch the film on the big screen. It faltered at the box office and the second part of the four-part franchise never made it to movie theaters.

Many great movies came out of the company, which was renamed Tree House Films in 2008, including Dances With Wolves, which Costner directed and starred in. The film was nominated for 12 Academy Awards and won seven, including two for Costner, who won Best Picture and Best Director.
