Meghan Markle is back on Instagram! The Duchess of Sussex, 43, kicked off 2025 with her return to social media. While she’s posted only twice—more on that ahead—things are going as “planned” for Meghan.

Meghan Markle is back on Instagram after a five-year hiatus. The Duchess of Sussex started the new year with her first post on her new solo account, @meghan. For her social media debut, Markle uploaded a video of herself — filmed by her husband, Prince Harry — frolicking on the beach near the royal couple’s home in Montecito, California.

Markle’s return to Instagram comes almost five years after she and Harry made a final post on their joint page, @sussexroyal. “Thank you to this community — for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. Harry & Meghan,” the couple said in March 2020.

Lemonada Media, the new platform the Duchess joined in early 2024, teased Meghan's podcast in a post about the new year. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle kicked off 2025 by launching her new Instagram account and teasing her upcoming Netflix series,
