Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has suggested that Poland’s government and its prime minister, Donald Tusk, were installed by the European Union as part of a plot to remove the country’s previous right-wing populist leadership.

Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban – who often clashes with his European Union partners – has made the wild claim that the incumbent Polish government was installed by the EU in a conspiracy to remove the previous populist government from power.

Hungary's nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orban alleged on Wednesday that the European Union executive was trying to overthrow his government and impose a "puppet" administration on Budapest, likening his protest to the 1956 anti-Soviet uprising.
