If you want to subscribe to Disney Plus or Hulu on your iPhone, you can’t do that anymore. Support documents for Disney Plus and Hulu now say that new and returning subscribers to those streaming services can’t sign up through Apple, as reported by MacRumors.

Disney Plus and Hulu will no longer offer Apple App Store billing support for new and returning subscribers on iOS and iPadOS.

New subscribers to Disney+ or Hulu will no longer be able to sign up through Apple's App Store, both Disney-owned platforms announced through updates to their help centers. Instead, individuals are encouraged to visit their browser sites and sign up directly with them.

Disney will no longer allow you to sign up and purchase Disney+ or Hulu subscriptions through the Apple App Store.

Streaming services Disney+ and Hulu have removed the option of subscribing in-app to avoid a hefty Apple commission.

New and returning subscribers are no longer able to sign up and pay for Disney+ through Apple. However, you can see all plans and sign up directly on DisneyPlus.com and can still watch Disney+ content on supported Apple devices. These changes do not impact existing Apple-billed subscribers.

You can no longer sign up for Hulu or Disney+ through Apple's App Store, as Disney tries to avoid Apple's IAP fees.
