Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials were working to capture up to 15 gray wolves in British Columbia to be released into Colorado. However, not all of Colorado's legislators are for the reintroduction.

A petition asked Colorado Parks and Wildlife to hold off releasing more wolves until the state fully implements programs meant to protect livestock.

Lauren Boebert, Jeff Crank, Gabe Evans, and Jeff Hurd -- are calling for an end to wolf reintroduction in the state and delisting the gray wolf from the Endangered Species Act.
