Cuban residents in Santo Suárez, part of a populous neighborhood in southwestern Havana, have had enough and began banging pots and pans to protest the power outage Sunday night. Some Cubans in Havana say they see food spoiling in refrigerators and no respite from the heat that keeps them awake at night without air conditioning or even a fan.
