Ubisoft announced another delay for the latest entry in the Assassin's Creed franchise amidst a broader cost-cutting effort for the company.

France's largest video game maker Ubisoft has decided to postpone the release of the newest game in its blockbuster franchise Assassin’s Creed again, putting off the launch to March 20 from Feb. 14, the company said on Thursday.

Originally poised to come out in November 2024, the game was delayed to February 14, 2025, to allow more time for extra polish, but has now received a second delay of nearly five weeks.
