A 49-year-old Albany man who was released from prison last year after information emerged that police had withheld exonerating evidence in his rape case was killed in a weekend shooting. Mohammed X. Poquee had spent more than two decades in prison for his conviction on charges that he had raped a woman in an Arbor Hill home.

One person has been killed and several others were injured in a shooting Saturday night at the Albany State University campus in Georgia, according to the university.
