Scottish ministers have been urged to rethink restrictions on controlled burning on moorland after a report disclosed recent wildfires were the largest Scotland has ever seen.
The new map details where these areas are. The maps were published by Scottish Natural heritage, and use methods developed at the Wildland Research Institute at the University of Leeds.
