Lucas Hunt -- who designed the "Thank You Jesus" sign when he was 16 -- was arrested and charged on Tuesday with one count of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, officials said.

WXII interviewed Hunt in 2017 when he helped make the signs popular. On Tuesday, Hunt was taken into custody and charged with one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
