In the three days since its release, more than 1.3 million people have played a short, time-limited Resident Evil 2 demo in advance of the game’s January 25 launch.

Like the original Resident Evil 4, the demo opens with a voice-over from Leon recapping previous Resident Evil games. The contents of those two openings are radically different, though.
