I have never made a French braid quilt before. I skimmed over the beginning of the book because I have all the supplies I’ll ever need and I know how to piece. On to the pictures.

Recorded deaths range from 122 to 282 per year. Most of the quilts are also covered with religious and cultural imagery, flowers and skulls. The 2009-2010 quilt is reminiscent of the U.S. flag.
