The best way to enjoy amaretto is not in a glass, but with our amaretto cake. A must-have for any afternoon tea, treat yourself to a slice!
Place cake mix, pudding mix, ¾ cup amaretto (or Amaretti or amaretto extract diluted with water to fill ¾-cup measuring cup), milk, oil, eggs and almond extract in large mixing bowl.
Pour batter into prepared pan. If needed, smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in preheated oven until edges of cake are firm and cracked, 35 to 40 minutes. The center will be just set but will jiggle.
