MAKING HISTORY: Carly and Courtney's win marks the first time that a same-sex couple has won for prom queens at Pennridge High School and possibly in the entire state of Pennsylvania.

A chocolate and vanilla sheet cake declaring Prom 2020 in Royal Palm’s trademark blue and black was ordered, and a photo of the couple was planted prominently atop the icing.

"This will be my second to last prom with my girls," the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum wrote on Instagram June 4. "It's always so fun helping them to get dressed up and feeling beautiful.

On June 4, the couple found out they were elected as prom royalty, and they accepted their crowns. “Everybody started screaming,” Courtney recalled.
