Tobacco stocks gained slightly on Thursday after the FDA has authorized the marketing of 20 Zyn nicotine pouch products through the premarket tobacco product application pathway. The development marks the first time the agency has approved nicotine pouches, which are small synthetic fiber pouches containing nicotine placed between the gum and lip.
