Pokémon Masters EX has announced a new slate of exciting content, including the ability to add Giovanni & Mewtwo as a Sync Pair today.

Today, the Lurking Shadows event has dropped into Pokémon Masters, and with it comes two familiar faces in Mewtwo and Giovanni.

Legendary Sync Pair Mewtwo and Giovanni have returned to Pokemon Masters for the Legendary Event: Lurking Shadows re-run for a limited time.

Mewtwo & Giovanni come to Pasio: In the game’s first-ever Legendary Pokémon event, players will be able to battle against the formidable sync pair of Mewtwo & Giovanni.

While Giovanni himself will use Shadow Mewtwo, you won’t be able to capture this powerful Legendary Pokemon under normal circumstances.

Giovanni previously used Shadow Mewtwo during the Pokemon Go Fest 2020 event which allowed players to face the Team Rocket leader and try to beat his powerful Pokemon.

Pokémon Masters players will have a couple weeks to obtain Giovanni and Mewtwo. From Thursday, December 5 to Thursday, December 19 at 12:59 p.m. EST, the special event takes place.
