One person is in custody after allegedly fabricating a report of an armed robbery at a welcome center in the Upper Peninsula.

After further questioning, the reporting individual admitted the robbery had been made up and no such incident occurred.

MENOMINEE, MI— An individual was arrested Sunday in Menominee for making a false police report.
