CLEVELAND, Ohio — A winning Powerball ticket was sold in Georgia for the Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, drawing and is worth an estimated $478.2 million. The ticket was purchased at a Quick Mart in Buford, Ga., according to the Powerball lottery. The winning numbers of 2-15-27-29-39 Powerball 20 were selected using the Quik Pik option.

In addition to the jackpot winner, two tickets sold in Pennslyvania and Texas matched the five white balls to win $1 million each.

A stop at a Florida gas station led a lottery player to a six-figure prize. Someone won $108,384.37 after matching all five numbers in the Fantasy 5 evening drawing on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the Florida Lottery. The lucky ticket was sold at a Mobil station in Sarasota, officials said.
