Leechburg High School sophomore Sophia Musselman models handmade resin earrings Tuesday in the Creation Nation classroom. To date, the class has earned several hundred dollars selling jewelry.

“I’ve always been obsessed with handmade earrings and recently I was going through a bit of some stressful stuff, so I decided to try a new craft and my mum is a resin artist too,” she said.

Resin, enamel, pearls, brooches, and earrings that seem to defy gravity – the upcoming jewellery looks for 2018 are varied and exciting, and range from the futuristic to the distinctly retro.
