Stepping Stones, a residential boys home in Wayne County has a new addition, a 1,200-square foot greenhouse. They point out that it is much more than a place to grow vegetables.

The stones may be set in mulch, gravel or sand, but creeping thyme, ajuga, sedum and dozens of other low-growing plants, as well as grass, will spread naturally between stepping stones.
