When a Tsunami Advisory is issued, there will be no coastal evacuations; however officials will evacuate the ocean and beaches. Stay out of the ocean and away from beaches, and stay out of any canals or streams that feed directly from the ocean.

Oregon so far is only under a tsunami advisory, which is one step lower than a tsunami warning. A live map and tracker for Oregon's tsunami advisory produced by the NWS can be found here. Waves can be expected to first arrive in Oregon as early as 11:35 p.m. July 29, according to NWS, though tsunami waves can continue to hit shores after that.
