DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The DeKalb County Board of Commissioners voted to delay a discussion of a series of planned water rate hikes until a Thursday Public Works and Infrastructure Committee meeting.
The DeKalb County Board of Commissioners voted to approve a plan to double residents’ water and sewage bills over the next 10 years, starting in May with an immediate 10% increase.
This year’s District 3 race was a special election after Johnson resigned to run for DeKalb County CEO. He lost to former District 7 commissioner Lorraine Cochran-Johnson.
