Chanel’s first high jewellery collection for the year – Plume de Chanel – harks back to Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel’s debut creation in 1910, the iconic Bijoux de Diamants.

"I figured, for a few bucks, they were worth further investigation," the discoverer of the hidden gems told Newsweek.
