Cruisin for Camp Courageous raises money to support the nearly 10,000 individuals with special needs who attend Camp Courageous each year. This is the 38th year for the car show.

“In honor of Camp Courageous’ 50th anniversary, we donated that to the camp,” Becker says. “It’s a 50-year van given to a 50-year camp to be raffled off.” ...

More than 100 people had registered for the event, which will benefit Camp Courageous, said organizer Andy Crump, proprietor of Wapsie River Rentals.

Today, Camp Courageous serves nearly 10,000 campers every year. Campers are of all ages and special needs. Over the 50 years, the youngest camper has been just 9 months old, and the oldest 105.
