The eponymous super fast blue hedgehog, who has appeared in more than 80 video games since 1991, headlined Archie Comics ... (Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic X, Sonic Universe) illustrating issue #1.

The Sonic franchise has dabbled with a darker tone in some of the games, but it feels like the Archie Comics designers went as far as they could for this one, without it being too gory or scary.
