Yesterday Australia’s Feliks Zemdegs managed to break the world record for solving a 7x7 Rubik’s Cube in just over two minutes and twenty-three seconds.

The goal is to solve a Rubik's Cube in the fastest time possible. There were 16 different competitions, ranging from a 2x2x2 cube with eight pieces all the way to a megaminx cube .
