For the second time in his PGA Tour career, Nico Echavarria is a winner. The 36- and 54-hole leader reached 20 under for the tournament and successfully fended off Justin Thomas and Max Greyserman for a one-stroke victory at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club.

Nico Echavarria claimed his second PGA Tour title, defeating Justin Thomas and Max Greyserman at the Zozo Championship. The 30-year-old Colombian collected $1.53 million in the 78-player, no-cut event.

Tied for the lead at the 72nd hole, Echavarria reached the par-5 18 th in two, leaving himself a 40-foot eagle putt. He lagged to 3 feet and converted the clinching stroke, finishing at 20-under 260, to edge Justin Thomas and Max Greyserman by one shot.
