Garrett Nussmeier's 25-yard touchdown pass to Kyren Lacy in overtime gave No. 13 LSU a 29–23 win over No. 9 Ole Miss. The Owls are in their first year at college football's top level and were 26.5-point underdogs. The Bulls guard underwent three knee surgeries while away, including a meniscus and cartilage transplant.

Ole Miss star wideout Tre Harris is out for the remainder of the Rebels game against LSU on Saturday night. Harris apparently came up injured in the second half and was shown in street clothes on the sideline in the final seconds of regulation.

Princely Umanmielen and Cayden Lee are key players for the Rebels that look to be on track to play this week. Lee is second on the team in receiving and Umanmielen is Ole Miss’ highest-graded defensive lineman according to Pro Football Focus.
